Gift Aid
Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways to boost our parish’s income. It is a scheme administered by the Inland Revenue which allows us to claim 25p for every £1 that you donate.
So, for example, if you donate £100 per year we can claim an extra £25, making your gift worth £125.
To join our parish’s Gift Aid scheme, you need to have paid or will pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax that is at least equal to the tax that our parish and other charities you donate to will reclaim on your donations in a tax year.
We simply need to be able to record your donations. The easiest way to do this is by setting up a standing order from your bank account to make a regular payment or by using a set of Gift Aid envelopes.
You just need to complete your name and address including your postcode on our simple Gift Aid Declaration and decide how you want to pay and the amount you want to pay and we’ll do the rest.
