At 9am this Thursday, the House of Commons Private Members’ Bill ballot will take place.

Assisted suicide campaigners, led by Kim Leadbeater MP, have made it clear that they are going to put considerable pressure on the 20 MPs who are successful in the ballot to bring back her assisted suicide Bill.

Their aim is not simply to revive the Bill. They want to use the Parliament Acts to bypass the House of Lords and force the Bill into law.

Taking this route would be unprecedented and profoundly inappropriate.

This is why your MP needs to hear from you before Thursday morning.

TAKE ACTION

Assisted suicide pressure group, Dignity in Dying, is currently filling MPs’ inboxes with emails calling for the assisted suicide Bill to be brought back.

Ahead of the ballot on Thursday, it is vital that your MP also hears from constituents who oppose any attempt to bring back this dangerous Bill.

Please take 30 seconds now to contact your MP, using the EasyAction tool we have just launched.

Ask your MP to oppose reviving the assisted suicide Bill
