First Reading: Genesis 2: 18-24

God’s original desire for humans is to find in each of us a bond of love that runs so deeply that we never feel alone.

Second Reading: Hebrews 2: 9-11

Jesus was fully human and lived a human life, understanding all human needs.

Gospel: Mark 10: 2-16

Jesus had deep concern for the welfare of wives and children, supporting the institution of marriage for the sake of the whole family’s well-being.

DIOCESAN SYNODAL PROCESS

Bishop Toal will mark the beginning of this synodal  process with the celebration of Mass in Motherwell Cathedral on Sunday 17th October at 3pm. Make a note of this in your diary and take part in this important diocesan event. Please let Father Doyle know if you wish to attend.

NUNRAW ABBEY Our recently opened Guesthouse is a wing of the monastery and is now ready to           receive guests. We have 9 rooms available including a disabled access room on the ground floor and 2 family rooms with 3 beds.  We offer full board and every room has an en-suite facility.
